  • Valid when booked for flights more than 60 days from the departure date
  • Valid on eligible Student Flights from Etihad Airways, Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand, Malaysian Airlines, Singapore Airlines & Emirates.
  • Dates can be changed, however normal change fees will apply

International Layby Terms and Conditions

 ^Available for new bookings made in Universal Traveller stores in Australia. International Layby Terms and Conditions Layby: Available for selected international Student Flights fares with Etihad Airways, Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand, Malaysian Airlines, Singapore Airlines & Emirates. Travel must originate in (i.e. depart from) Australia, not available for inbound travel to Australia. Customer must pay Universal Traveller a AUD100 layby deposit when booking. The price of the Student Flights fare is guaranteed upon receipt of the deposit. Subject to your refund and remedy rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the layby deposit amount is non-refundable in the event of cancellation and cannot be transferred to another booking. Once the layby deposit is paid, any requested changes to the itinerary (eg. dates, times, routes, departures, names) will incur a AUD100 Change Fee. The Change Fee includes the airline’s change fees and our ticketing costs. The Change Fee will be recoverable by the customer as a debt due and payable to Universal Traveller. Full payment for the booking is due 60 days prior to scheduled departure. Failure to meet the final payment deadline will result in the booking being cancelled and reservations returned to the airline. If a customer wants to re-book (i.e. create a new booking), the new booking will be subject to the then available fares, original fares are not guaranteed.
