As a traveller your journey around this great planet of ours can transform not only you, but also the places you visit.
We are proud to be launching an incredible range of travel experiences that help make a positive difference to the locals. These trips are part of the Flight Centre Travel Group’s UN commitment to deliver responsible travel.
For our initial range we have: Conscious Cambodia, Go Beyond in Bali, Valued Vietnam and Thoughtful Thailand!
The Worldwise Mindful Trips include only ethical, educational and sustainable animal interactions, plus accommodation and transport providers have been selected because they prioritise sustainable and ethical practices. Each trip also includes a list of recommended local social enterprise businesses, all of which give you a chance to give back—like doing a cooking class as part of a program to help keep kids off the street; or helping out at an elephant rehabilitation centre; or working with rescued animals to get them socialised for adoption.
To further enhance your opportunity to give back, all of our Mindful Trips include the donation of an environmentally friendly Solarbuddy solar light to change a child’s life. Flight Centre Travel Group has joined forces with SolarBuddy and our current goal in Australia is to gift 42,000 lights to children living in energy poverty in Vanuatu. YOU now have the power to be part of this transformation by adding a $25 light donation to your booking. Please ask your consultant how!
Through our partnership with IIPT - International Institute for Peace through Tourism - we encourage our customers to travel with an open mind.
