Ajman Weather Guide
Like the rest of the UAE, Ajman has 2 seasons: a warm winter and hot summers. Rainfall is sparse and occurs only during the winter months, while on the flipside, the humidity can be unbearable at almost 90 percent during the summer season.
Season and Clothing
Summer: May to September
The hottest and humid months in Ajman are between June and September when the mercury has been known to hit the mid 40s. Average sea temperatures during summer can also get up to a very warm 33 degrees Celsius. The holy month of Ramadan usually falls during the months of July and August and is when Muslims observe a sunrise-to-sunset fast. Visitors are asked to not to consume food and drink in public during this time, which can prove difficult for travellers. On the plus side, hotel room rates are cheaper during the low season.
Average temperatures: 22 - 39 degrees Celsius.
Appropriate clothing: At the beach: shorts and swimwear. In public: Lightweight dresses and pants, t-shirts and sandals.
Don't forget: A hat, sunnies, water and SPF50+ sunscreen.
Winter: October to April
With pleasant weather in the mid 20s during the day and cooler nights, winter is the perfect time to visit Ajman. Rainfall is scarce with only about 13 days of light rain that clears for sunny weather again. The more comfortable climate makes it easier to sightsee, wander around outdoors and enjoy the beaches with sea temps around the low 20s. Winter is also the peak season for tourists due to the more favourable weather conditions, which means higher prices in hotels and more people around the attractions.
Average temperatures: 13 - 34 degrees Celsius.
Appropriate clothing:T-shirts, pants, knee-length skirts, dresses and short-sleeve tops.
Don't forget: A lightweight jacket for cooler nights.
