Belgrade Transport Guide
Belgrade doesn’t have the best reputation for reliable public transport, but while there are holes in every system, the Serbian capital offers a sophisticated and modern transport network of buses.
How to get around Belgrade
Public transport is the budget-friendly option for budding travellers everywhere, and Belgrade is no exception. With a few different bus companies and 5 lines, Belgrade has the BlusPlus, a preloaded travel card available from newsstands to get you where you want to go by bus. For taxis, pre-book or hail one off the street. Don’t use taxis lined up near tourist hotspots - some drivers apply a fixed tariff opposed to running a meter, charging you more.
