The world’s richest race
The Dubai World Cup is the world’s richest horse race, with a purse of a whopping US10 million for the main race. The biggest and brightest event on the Dubai sporting calendar, the Dubai World Cup takes place on the last Saturday of March each year to mark the end of United Arab Emirate’s racing season. The day features nine races, six of which are Group 1 races and three falling under the Group 2 category. There are also plenty of festivities alongside the races including a concert, tasty treats and some spectacular people watching amongst a crowd of 60,000.
Universal Traveller can help you and your mates get to the next Dubai World Cup with a tailor-made holiday package that covers it all so you can spend your spare time researching your bets. Another popular option is to combine your Dubai World Cup as part of a larger tour of Dubai and surrounds. Spend your winnings island hopping around Abu Dhabi, exploring the historical monuments of Ajman or immersing yourself in Dubai culture in the old city districts. Be sure to save time for a camel ride and exploration of the surrounding deserts!
