Cheap flights to Santiago
Santiago is gently placed between the soaring Andes mountains and a dramatic coastline, and the city’s centrepiece is a palm tree-shaded fountain at Plaza de Armas. Santiago is often just a thoroughfare for travellers looking to get elsewhere in South America, but we urge you not to overlook the capital of Chile. Brimming with travel experiences, Santiago is best known for its excellent shopping, especially at Costanera Center and Parque Arauco. You will also find endless music and dancing if you head into any of the clubs or pubs and can try your own hand at salsa with plenty of classes available for travellers who want to return home with some new moves to bust out on the dancefloor. Check out the La Chascona – a pretty amazing museum, and Palacio de La Moneda – the presidential palace of Chile and a must-see sight. And Universal Traveller will get you to Santiago on the most direct and cheapest flights you can imagine – how good is that?

The city centre, El Centro, is ideal to explore on foot or bicycle. A stone's throw from Plaza de Armas is the city’s finest cathederal, Catedral Metropolitana. The city also boasts numerous cultural centres of which Centro Cultural Palacio La Moneda is arguably its most innovative and exciting.
